Richard is a commercial property specialist regularly dealing with land acquisitions, options, landlord and tenant law and associated transactions. Richard heads the property team, providing advice to a range of major commercial property clients, land owners, land agents and surveyors.

Richard trained at Day Boot & Pollett and qualified in 1970. He moved to Henmans in that year and became a partner in 1973. He has been head of the property team since 1985 and senior partner since 2004.

Richard was an external examiner in property subjects at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice for six years. He gives regular seminars to clients on landlord and tenant issues and general property workshops to charity clients.
