Viv Matthews, head of HR

Viv has more than 20 years experience in the field of HR and has worked for a variety of firms including Ridge (chartered surveyors), Vichy (part of the L'Oreal Group), Scottish & Newcastle Breweries and Group 4 Total Security. She joined Henmans in 1999 and successfully took the firm through to gaining the Investors in People accreditation in 2002 and a first review in 2004.

Viv holds an MA in Human Resource Management and Strategy, and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She holds the British Safety Council Certificate in Health and Safety Management and is an Associate of the International Institute of Risk & Safety Management.

 

Sharmine Shields, HR secretary/administrator

Sharmine joined Henmans in 2006, after having completed various assignments with Thames Valley Police for three years. Prior to that she worked for one of the local NHS hospitals as an HR Assistant and she intends to use the experiences and knowledge to add value to the HR team.

Sharmine holds a BA Hons in European Business Administration and a MA in Human Resource Management. She is also a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
