Press Release

Growth at Henmans with five new arrivals

20 August 2007

Henmans LLP has today been joined by Stuart Capel, formerly of Pryce & Co in Abingdon. Stuart brings with him three other lawyers and a conveyancer.

Stuart joins the Henmans property team as a consultant specialising in agriculture, in which field he is a recognised expert. He will join Henmans’s large agricultural property team, headed by Sam Eeley and Iain Davis. Kathy Crook will also join the property team on the residential conveyancing side.

Humphrey Marten, Catherine Rolfe and Lisa Mark-Bell will also be joining from Pryce & Co and will add to the ranks of the expanding private client team.

Richard Shallard, head of property at Henmans and senior partner, commented, “We are delighted that Stuart will be joining us. Our recent move into new premises to accommodate our growing teams signifies our ambition to increase our margin of size over Oxford’s other law firms. We enjoy our position as the largest firm in the city, and plan to continue our expansion over the next five years.”
